Speakers Network

Syba Academy operates an extensive speakers network connecting schools and organisations with education professionals, authors and illustrators. The speakers network was established to take the hard work out of sourcing and organising local and international speakers and to assist visiting speakers with the booking, administration and travel associated with a speaking tour. We have now facilitated over 100 customised school, organisation and network group visits.

All programs developed by Syba Academy are aligned to Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. In NSW programs delivered are accredited by the Quality Teaching Council / BOSTES addressing the following standards (see below). In the ACT Syba Academy is a recognised provider of TQI ACT accredited professional learning. Courses developed by Syba Academy can be submitted for accreditation on a course-by-course basis.

For Proficient Teachers

Syba Academy is endorsed to provide QTC Registered Professional Development for teachers accredited at Proficient Teacher Level.

We also have an ever-growing list of speakers eager to connect to schools via Skype. This is a cost effective solution to have speakers in-service staff or authors & illustrators connect with English classes or with groups of students during book week.
